This project was part of the 2022 SkillsUSA Engineering Design Competition. In this competition, teams of 3 were required to design a product and pitch it to industry professionals. Our product was a multi-function cosmetic stand that aims to help facilitate daily tasks such as applying makeup, shaving, and brushing teeth for amputees and quadriplegics. Our design won 1st place in the regional competition and 6th in the state competition.

Table clamp
Limb guard
Our design features an all-encompassing grip for various cylindrical objects. This is attached to a magnetic and flexible shaft that customers can bend to suitable angles. This is attached to an interchangeable base via a magnet. One version of the base is a clamp that allows it to attach to a table and the other is a limb guard that allows the device to attach to a limb if needed.
